EVEC as standard. Your choice of charger.
These are examples of Bradley’s own EVEC installations. EVEC is fitted as standard, but you are not limited to one brand: he can also fit another charger you would like. Send the make and model with your parking and property details so the supply, protection and installation requirements can be checked before quoting.
Quality is in the details, not just the charger
A carefully planned installation considers your home or business premises, the parking layout and how charging will be used. These checks come before a fitting date is agreed.
Commercial and workplace charging
EV charge points for business premises as well as homes. Parking access, charging requirements, available supply and any load management are assessed so the installation suits the site. Equipment and scope are agreed before work begins.
Supply and capacity assessment
The existing supply, consumer unit or distribution board, earthing and bonding are checked, along with charging demand alongside household or business loads. Load management or supply changes are discussed where needed.
DNO application and notification
The Distribution Network Operator is the company responsible for the local electricity network. Bradley handles the required application or notification for the agreed installation, using the appropriate process for your supply and equipment.
Thoughtful charger positioning
Charger location and cable routes are planned around where you park, charging-cable reach and everyday access. The aim is a practical setup with a tidy finish, not unnecessary cable runs across the property.
Properly specified protection
Circuit design, cable sizing, earthing and protective devices are selected for the installation and charger, in line with BS 7671 and the manufacturer’s instructions. Existing electrical issues are identified rather than worked around.
A high-quality installation
Secure fixings, neatly routed and supported cabling, suitable outdoor components where needed and clear labelling. The details are agreed in advance so you know what will be visible and what the quote includes.
Testing, certification and handover
The new charge-point circuit is inspected and tested, with an Electrical Installation Certificate issued. Applicable domestic work is notified under Part P, with the compliance confirmation supplied. Bradley explains the charger, controls and any load-management settings.
From first enquiry to a certified charging point
Survey and free quote
Say whether the installation is for a home or business, then send your town, parking details and photos of the consumer unit or distribution board, meter area and proposed charger positions. Bradley assesses the supply and cable route, then agrees the charger, scope and price with you.
DNO application or notification
Bradley checks which DNO process applies. Where prior approval is required, the application is submitted and approval obtained before connection. Eligible installations can follow the connect-and-notify route, with notification completed after installation within the applicable deadline.
Careful installation
The charger, circuit, protection and any agreed load management are installed to the planned layout. Cabling is neatly supported, outdoor entries are finished appropriately and the installation is labelled.
Test, certify and explain
The circuit and charger are tested and commissioned. You receive the Electrical Installation Certificate and applicable Part P compliance confirmation, with required DNO notification completed and a practical explanation of how to use your charger.
A clear quote for your property
The cost depends on the charger, cable route, existing electrics and any load management or remedial work needed. The quote sets out the agreed scope and paperwork. Any network-operator work or charges are discussed separately where applicable, rather than assumed to be included.
A fitting date depends on the supply, not just the charger
Some properties need DNO approval or supply work before a charge point can be connected. Bradley explains what is needed following the assessment. Network approval times, upgrades and third-party costs cannot be guaranteed in advance.

Things people ask first
Covering Nuneaton, Tamworth, Hinckley and nearby.
Do you install commercial and workplace EV charging?
Yes. Bradley covers commercial EV charging as well as home installations. Send the premises type, parking layout, proposed charging requirements and any drawings or photos. The supply and installation scope are assessed before quoting, with the appropriate DNO application or notification, testing and certification included in the process.
What is a DNO application?
It is an application to the Distribution Network Operator, which manages the local electricity network, to connect equipment such as an EV charge point. The operator may need to assess the supply and capacity. Bradley handles the required application or notification as part of the agreed installation.
Does every charger need DNO approval before installation?
Not every installation follows the same route. Some eligible installations can be connected and then notified; others need approval before connection. The correct route is checked against the equipment, supply and current network requirements before work proceeds.
What certification will I receive?
For a new charge-point circuit, you receive an Electrical Installation Certificate following inspection and testing. Applicable domestic work is also notified under Part P, with the compliance confirmation supplied. DNO paperwork is separate from electrical certification.
Will the installation look tidy?
That is part of the planning, not an afterthought. Charger position, cable route, fixings and visible equipment are discussed before work starts. Secure, neatly supported cabling and clear labelling are part of a high-quality finish.
Can my existing electrics support a charger?
That is checked during the assessment. Available capacity, earthing, bonding and circuit protection all matter. Load management, electrical remedials or DNO supply work may be needed; a charger is not assumed to be suitable for every existing supply.
Which EV chargers do you fit?
EVEC is fitted as standard, but Bradley can also fit another charger you prefer. If you have a particular model in mind, send the make and model so its requirements can be checked as part of the installation assessment.
Do you fit a charger I have already bought?
Send the make and model, together with photos of the proposed location and your electrics. Bradley can assess suitability and agree the installation scope before you book.

Nuneaton, Tamworth and Hinckley are the main areas, with wider Warwickshire and Leicestershire coverage. Send your town and a few details to check availability.
