Commercial electrical work that keeps your premises running

Bradley has ten years across domestic, commercial and light industrial work. For small businesses that means someone who is used to working around staff and trading hours, and who keeps explanations short and practical.

Two things are easy to mix up here, so they are kept separate: electrical condition reports look at the fixed wiring, while emergency lighting is tested, audited and repaired as its own system.

Process

How a commercial job runs

  1. Share the brief

Premises type, area, what is needed and any drawings or photos.

  2. Site visit if needed

For refits and unclear faults, a visit before quoting avoids surprises.

  3. Free quote

Discuss the scope, price and any site requirements before work is agreed.

  4. Work planned around you

Dates are agreed to keep disruption sensible, with testing and paperwork completed at the end.

Honest pricing

What is priced

Callout rates are minimum charges. Refits, testing and remedials are quoted for the agreed scope. Out-of-hours visits are by arrangement, subject to availability.

Condition report is not a fire-safety audit

An EICR covers fixed electrical wiring. It does not replace a fire risk assessment or a fire-safety certificate. Emergency lighting testing and audits are a separate service and are quoted separately.

Questions

Things people ask first

Covering Nuneaton, Tamworth, Hinckley and nearby.

What is the difference between an EICR and emergency lighting testing?

An EICR reports on the condition of fixed wiring. Emergency lighting testing checks that the emergency lights work as a system, and it is audited and repaired separately.

Can you work around opening hours?

Often, yes. Say when the premises are quiet and a plan can be agreed. Out-of-hours work is by arrangement.

Do you do refits?

Yes, including office refits. Drawings help, but photos and a conversation are a fine start.

Do you install commercial EV charge points?

Yes. Bradley installs EV charging for business premises as well as homes. EVEC is fitted as standard, or another charger can be chosen. The supply, charging requirements and installation scope are assessed before quoting, with DNO paperwork, testing and certification included in the agreed process.

Are you insured?

Yes, fully insured, and a NAPIT member (no. 31916).

Where do you cover?

Nuneaton, Tamworth and Hinckley mainly, plus wider Warwickshire and Leicestershire. Ask if you are unsure.
